A noticeable step up from their full length 4 years ago. When it came out I dug their whole vibe, ethos, image--but the music was just serviceable IMO. These 4 tracks are damn near flawless and unique black metal and this is how I hoped they'd sound when I smashed that order button on the last album. Can't wait for their next full length.

An outstanding album of which you will not become tired. It is hard to compete with the pure black joy of this record, I haven't had that much fun since "Drudenfuß" by Urfaust, and that was just a single song. Refreshing and real. Superb screams, some serious folly in those fast riffs, and melodies you want to etch in your intestines. Permeated by a mad drive and a vibe of jolly gloom and cheerful aggression, this record is a very special gem and a new favourite of mine. Not one dull moment.
